Abstract    Venous leg ulcers (VLU) is the most serious manifestation of venous disease, which belongs to C5 / C6 of CEAP grade. It has the characteristics of long chronic course of ulcer formation, low healing rate and high recurrence rate. The delayed healing of ulcer wounds and huge medical expenses have a serious impact on the quality of life of patients and a heavy social and economic burden. The etiology of VLU is complex. Venous hypertension caused by various chronic venous diseases is the pathological basis. The history, clinical manifestations and physical examination of ulcer are helpful to the diagnosis of VLU. The treatment options of VLU include drug treatment, pressure treatment, surgical treatment, ulcer wound treatment, etc. After careful evaluation, appropriate methods should be adopted for comprehensive treatment according to the characteristics of the patient's condition.
