聚醚醚酮牙周夹板的材料性能及临床效果研究进展

Abstract: Chronic periodontitis often leads to progressive mobility and displacement of teeth,consequently the masticatory functionality of the patient can be adversely affected. Periodontal splinting can help to stabilize the involved teeth,redistribute the occlusal forces,and increase their masticatory efficiency. Fiber-reinforced composite resin splint(FRC)is the most commonly used technique for periodontal splinting. However,it takes a long time to operate directly at chairside,while indirect manufacturing cannot be achieved in digital workflow,and its precision can′t be guaranteed. Therefore,there is an urgent need to explore periodontal splint materials with brighter prospects for clinical application. Polyetheretherketone(PEEK)is a thermoplastic high-performance polymer. It has been proposed for periodontal splinting,due to its advantages,such as excellent mechanical properties,and esthetic effects. This paper reviews the material properties of PEEK as well as the clinical performance of PEEK splints,and analyzes their application prospects,in order to provide a reliable basis for the popularization of PEEK periodontal splinting.

摘要: 慢性牙周炎可导致牙齿进行性松动、移位,造成患者咀嚼无力。松牙固定技术可固定松动牙,重新分配咬合力,提高咀嚼效能。传统的松牙固定技术多使用纤维带树脂夹板,但口内直接修复椅旁操作时间长,间接修复无法实现数字化制作,精度难以保证。因此,亟需探索更具临床应用前景的牙周夹板材料。聚醚醚酮是一类高性能聚合物,因机械性能及美学效果较佳等优势可用于牙周夹板修复。文章就聚醚醚酮的材料性能及聚醚醚酮牙周夹板的临床应用效果做一综述,分析其应用前景,以期为聚醚醚酮牙周夹板的推广应用提供可靠依据。
