Abstract: With the improvement in living standards，especially the development in oral implantology，people have higher requirements for the success rate of implant restoration. Dental implant stability is one of the important parameters for judging the success of implants，which is of great significance in selecting the timing of loading dental implants and judging the outcome of osseointegration interface. Therefore，objective and accurate assessment，as well as monitoring of implant stability is the key to improving the success rate of implant restoration. This paper summarized the commonly used evaluation methods for implant stability，and analyzed them from various aspects，such as timing of use，invasiveness，objectivity，reliability，repeatability，and continuity of monitoring；meanwhile，their advantages and disadvantages were compared to provide references for clinicians to select the appropriate methods for assessing implant stability.
