Abstract:

Summary：The prosthesis of the maxillary anterior region is an indispensable part of stomatology. Most scholars work at  the teeth arrangement，size，color etc，and pay less attention to gingival aesthetics. Gingival aesthetics is the integral part of smile aesthetics，and gradually the dentists and patients are being more attentive towards the gingival esthetics. The process of constructing a more coordinated and beautiful smile makes a lot of researchers have a common interest in the aesthetic parameters of teeth，gingival，lips and mouth. This review of the literature attempts to address the parameter of gingival aesthetics.
