    Adenomyosis is a common gynecology disease that seriously damage women’ s health.Nowadays,the noninvasive imaging technology has been used in diagnosing the disease.In this article, we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of various imaging technologies and markers.Our aim is to help the gynecologists to find an appropriate diagnosis method and increase the diagnosis rate in early adenomyosis.

    Adenomyosis is a common gynecologic disease, and its treatment consists of surgery, nonsurgery techniques and drug therapy, but surgery is the main treatment for adenomyosis.At present, most patients are unwilling to accept total hysterectomy, and then conservative surgery is the main modality of surgical treatment for adenomyosis.In the paper, we aimed to investigate all the possible treatment alternatives of conservative surgical modalities for adenomyosis based on the subtypes of adenomyosis so as to provide clues to the conservative surgical treatment for adenomyosis.

    Adenomyosis is a common disease in women at childbearing age.Although there is no direct evidence that the disease causes infertility,more and more studies have indicated that adenomyosis may have a negative effect on the fertility of women.For patients with adenomyosis- associated fertility disorders, the choice of treatment methods and the application of assisted reproductive technology have become a hot research topic in recent years.The treatment plan should be a personalized decision made by reproductive endocrinologist and gynecologist together,according to several comprehensive factors.

    Adenomyosis(AM)is a common chronic benign uterine disease which seriously affects the physical and psychological health of women during their childbearing age.Currently, hysterectomy remains the standard treatment for AM in women who have completed childbearing while other conservative surgical treatments may have the risks of treatment failure and recurrence.Therefore, chronic disease management(CDM)is practical for long-term management of AM patients after surgery in order to improve the prognosis of AM.

    The aim of the treatments for adenomyosis of the uterus is to relieve pain, to reduce heavy menstrual flow and to retain or enhance fertility.Surgerical treatment,particularly hysterectomy, remains the most important method of treatment for the disease up to now.The main conservative therapeutic methods include medical therapy, uterine artery embolization and focal ablation therapy.The principles of medical treatment for adenomyosis of the uterus are to be individualized,using effective drugs with fewer side-effects.In this article,medical treatments for adenomyosis of the uterus are discussed through literature review as we as author’ s clinical experience.

    Adenomyosis(AM)is characterized clinically by dysmenorrhea, increased menstrual volume and chronic pelvic pain.Cysticadenomyosis and malignant transformation of adenomyosis were rare types of adenomyosis, which is likely to be clinically misdiagnosed.Treatment should be based on the age,symptoms, pathological changes, fertility requirements,and extent of lesion.Combination of a variety of treatments should be used to improve the surgical curative effect and relieve symptoms and postpone the recurrence.
