Abstract:

Abstract: Urinary system involvement is frequently documented in the context of DIE; it rarely represents the only manifestation of endometriosis. Urinary system endometriosis is commonly associated with severe urinary symptoms. Both adequate diagnosis and successful treatment should be completed at reference centers where a close collaboration between a dedicated gynecologist and urologist is available. Hormone treatment still remains an option in a subset of patients,while surgical treatment leads to satisfactory long-term outcome results in terms of patient compliance and prognosis.
