Severe pneumonia is one of the main causes of death from infectious diseases in children. Severe pneumonia can be combined with complications such as atelectasis，and can also lead to sequelae such as obliterated bronchiolitis and bronchiectasis. Pulmonary rehabilitation can reduce the complications and sequelae of pneumonia，improve the respiratory function and improve the quality of life of children by means of airway clearance and respiratory muscle training，playing an important role in the treatment and recovery of severe pneumonia. Comprehensive evaluation and whole-process management should be emphasized in pulmonary rehabilitation of children with severe pneumonia.
