Abstract: Maxillary defects may lead to depressed deformity of the operated face，and a compromised oral-nasal partition manifesting as hypernasal speech，fluid leakage into the nasal cavity，and impaired masticatory function，which will be mostly resolved by prosthodontic reconstruction. The design of obturator prostheses highly depends on the site and size and remaining teeth. The design principles and fabrication of different obturator prostheses will be introduced for partially edentulous，fully edentulous and total maxillary loss respectively according to prosthodontic classifications of maxillary defects published in the literatures.

摘要： 上颌骨缺损后常造成患者面部软组织塌陷、发音不清及吞咽困难等问题，赝复体修复可较好地恢复面部丰满度、降低过高鼻音、封闭口鼻交通及改善咀嚼。上颌骨缺损的赝复体修复设计，因缺损位置、大小及余留牙的情况不同而有所差异。文章参考修复学领域常引用的两种分类法，分别介绍部分牙列缺损的上颌骨缺损、无牙颌上颌骨缺损、全上颌骨缺失赝复体修复的原则与方法，以期为临床工作提供参考。
