Abstract: Photodynamic therapy is used in the treatment of infectious disease for its antibacterial effects. The application in the treatment of oral disease，especially periodontal diseases has also been paid further attention. The purpose of the present review is to provide information about the mechanism and the application of photodynamic therapy in the treatment of periodontitis and peri-implantitis.

摘要： 光动力疗法因具有抗微生物作用被应用于感染性疾病的治疗，在口腔领域特别是牙周病的治疗方面，也受到越来越多的关注。文章就光动力疗法的机制及其在牙周炎和种植体周围炎治疗中的应用做一阐述。
