Abstract:

Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome（OSAS）has been noticed by people in recent years.OSAS is not only a sleep-disordered disease，but also a systemic disease.The current treatment methods for OSAS can be summarized as two major mays：surgical and non-surgical approach.As one of the non-surgical approach，the oral appliances have theirspecial advantagesand have got optimum therapeutic outcomes. This paper reviews the indications，the contraindications，the types，the therapy principle，and the treatment effect of the oral appliances.

摘要：

阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停综合征（OSAS）近年来逐渐被人们所认知。OSAS不仅是一种睡眠呼吸障碍性疾病，亦是一种全身性疾病。目前针对OSAS的治疗方法可以概括为手术和非手术治疗两大类。口腔矫治器作为OSAS的非手术治疗方法之一，因其具有独特的优点，为更多患者所接受，并取得了良好的治疗效果。文章就OSAS口腔矫治器适应证、禁忌证、种类、治疗机制及治疗效果等做一综述。
