Abstract:

The ageing of Chinese population combined with development of geriatric dentistry results in increased retention of natural teeth and higher risk of dental caries and other oral problems in older patients.Minimal invasive technique means diagnosing and treating diseases using techniques which cause the least damage to the organism. It is a new approach to oral disease management in older patients. This article mainly describes the application of MIT in geriatric dentistry，including the strategies for dental caries，periodontal disease，prosthodontics，tooth extraction and implantation.

摘要：

随着我国步入老龄化社会，老年人口占总人口的比例逐步升高。近年来，随着老年口腔医学的不断发展与普及，我国老年人口内存留牙数不断增多。老年患者作为一个特殊群体，口腔疾病谱、诊疗方法、合并的全身系统性疾病均有其特殊性，口腔医生在老年口腔疾病防治工作中面临新的挑战。微创技术力求以最小的切口路径和最少的组织损伤，完成对体内病灶的观察诊断及治疗。具有出血少、术后疼痛轻、恢复快、瘢痕细微或无瘢痕的特点。本文主要介绍微创技术在老年口腔疾病，包括龋病治疗、牙周治疗、修复、拔牙及种植等方面的应用。
