Abstract:

Objective    To compare and analyze the effects of FRⅡappliance and activator in the treatment of skeletal classⅡdivision 1 malocclusion.  Methods    Twenty-six growth patients with skeletal classⅡdivision 1 malocclusion were selected and treated with FRⅡappliance（n=13）and activator（n=13） respectively. Cephalometric radiographs were taken and analyzed at pre-treatment and post-treatment. T-tests were used to determine if there were significant differences between the effects in two groups. Results    Both the FRⅡappliance and the activator could change classⅡto class I relationship and significantly increase mandibular growth，the upper incisors retruded and overjet and overbite reduced to a normal range. In the mean time there was almost not any restraining effect on the maxilla. The lower incisors were kept more straightly in the Activator group than FRⅡappliance group. The differences between the two groups were not statistically significant. Conclusion    Both the FRⅡappliance and the activator can correct the classⅡdivision 1 malocclusion efficiently， improving patients’profiles.

摘要：

目的    比较分析FRⅡ型功能矫治器与肌激动器对儿童安氏Ⅱ1类错牙合的临床矫治效果。方法    2008—2012年中国医科大学附属口腔医院正畸科26例安氏Ⅱ1类患儿分别采用FRⅡ型功能矫治器（13例）和肌激动器（13例）进行功能性矫治，在矫治前后拍摄头颅侧位片，选择指示颅面部软硬组织形态位置特征的17项指标定点测量，采用SPSS17.0统计软件对测量结果进行比较分析。结果    矫治后所有患儿侧貌得到明显改善，磨牙关系达中性或偏近中。两组矫治器均能有效促进下颌生长，回收上颌切牙，减小前牙覆牙合、覆盖，但对上颌骨生长的抑制作用均不明显，肌激动器能有效地控制下切牙的倾斜度。两组矫治器矫治效果比较差异无统计学意义（P＞0.05）。结论    FRⅡ型功能矫治器和肌激动器均能有效改善上下颌骨及牙弓的Ⅱ类关系，改善患者侧貌面型。
