Abstract:

Objective    To evaluate the short-term clinical performance of a modified two-retainer resin-bonded bridge casted of palladium-silver （Pd-Ag） alloy in restoring single missing teeth in maxilla. Methods    From February to August 2013， the modified resin-bonded bridges were used in 10 patients to restore their maxillary missing teeth in Department of Prosthodontics，West China Hospital of Stomatology. Assess their repairing effect at 3 months， 6 months and 1 year. Results    There were 10 total bridges fabricated and bonding in 10 patients. They all were followed up for at least 1 year. During follow-up， no tooth defect， secondary caries， or food impaction was detected on abutment tooth； no discoloration， fracture， loosening，or shedding was detected in the Pd-Ag alloy resin-bonded bridges. All bridges were rated as A grade. Conclusion    Pd-Ag alloy two-retainer resin-bonded bridge shows satisfactory short-term restorative result for single missing posterior tooth in maxilla. However， the long-term clinical performance of this modified restoration requires further investigation.

摘要：

目的    观察应用传统失蜡法铸造成型的改良钯银合金双翼板粘接桥修复上颌单颗后牙缺失的短期临床效果。方法    对2013年2—8月在四川大学华西口腔医院修复科就诊的10例上颌单颗后牙缺失患者，应用改良钯银合金双翼板粘接桥进行修复。患者于修复后3个月、半年、1年复诊，参照改良的美国公共健康部门制定的评定系统（USPHS标准及Ryge标准一），从牙体完整性、继发龋、邻接关系、邻边缘变色、术后敏感、修复体情况、边缘密合性、磨耗情况以及颜色满意程度等9个方面对粘接桥的修复效果进行评价。结果    10例患者随访期均满1年，观察期间，所有基牙牙体组织完整，无继发龋、无食物嵌塞。10件粘接桥无变色、折裂、松动、脱落等情况发生，修复体与基牙边缘密和性良好，10件修复体评价等级均为A级。结论    在1年的观察期内，改良钯银合金双翼板粘接桥修复上颌单颗后牙缺失获得了微创美观的修复效果。其粘接强度能否满足临床长期要求尚须进一步观察。
