Abstract: Class Ⅲ malocclusion refers to forward position of the first molar. Class Ⅲ malocclusion has an impact on maxillofacial growth，oral function，facial appearance and mental health，etc. Class Ⅲ malocclusion in primary dentition，tends to become heavier with the growth of jaw，and the treatment becomes more challenging. There are rarious treatments for Class Ⅲ malocclusion. This paper reviews the etiology，the morbidity，the harm，the diagnosis and treatment of Class Ⅲ malocclusion in primary dentition.
