Abstract:

Angle ClassⅡmalocclusion is a common malocclusion deformity，which is characterised by anterior deep overbite，anterior deep overjet， excessive tooth display， maxillary protrusion and mandibular retrusion in clinic. Not only masticatory function but appearance is impaired in patients with Class Ⅱ malocclusion. Suffering from these disadvantages，some patients even run into psychological problems. A successful treatment is depended on appropriate correction timing and approach. In this review，the common methods and progress of ClassⅡ correction were summarized.
