Abstract    The number of obese people is increasing rapidly all over the world. Obesity and its complications are seriously affecting human health. Metabolic surgical treatment of obesity and metabolic syndrome has been affirmed widely. Clinical research on bariatric surgery continues to enrich. The right operation should be chosen combined with the needs of patients and the technical level of the doctor. Surgeons should carry out more research on metabolism index,focus on the perioperative complications of metabolic surgery and long-term nutrition complications,pay attention to the mental state and beauty demand of obese people at the same time.
