Abstract    The application of fiberoptic ductoscopy (FD) make it possible that intraductal papilloma can be directly observed and diagnosed, which changes the surgical indication of the patients with nipple discharge. Localization of the lesions in the duct achieved by FD can minimize the surgical area and avoid the blind microdochectomy. What’s more, interventional FD exempt some patients with solitary intraductal papilloma from open surgery by extracting the lesion from the duct.
