Abstract    With the development of laparoscopic techniques，indications for laparoscopic management have become more extended. Nowadays，laparoscopic techniques are not only considerable for various acute abdomen situations，but also have been initially practiced in the case of postoperative complications after abdominal surgery，such as intra-abdominal hemorrhage，digestive tract leakage and adhesive intestinal obstruction. However，laparoscopic techniques are still not advanced enough to be applied for postoperative complications after abdominal surgery as a routine diagnostic or therapeutic approach，due to strict criteria for candidates. It needs to be practiced among highly selected patients and within certain clinical investigations in medical institutes with adequate technical supports and by surgeons with adequate experiences of laparoscopic surgery.
