Abstract    The morbidity of vascular disease is increasing daily， while endovascular repair（EVR） technique is becoming riper than before. It leads to most of the patients choose EVR instead of open surgical repair（OSR）， which can also obtain satisfactory therapeutic effects. In addition， the phenomenon of the vascular surgeon neglect and forgot OSR should draw everyone’s attention. Overall， OSR technique is essential grounding of each vascular surgeon.
