Abstract：The review gives examples with Nitinol wire，β titanium wire，Nitinol sprin，titanium screw and titanium plate to expound the characteristics of Ti and titanium alloy materials. It introduces the current situation and application history of Ti and titanium alloy materials. Meanwhile it states the applications and problems of Ti and titanium alloy materials in orthodontic treatment.
