Abstract:

Summary：Dental abrasion is a common non-carious defect. Excessive abrasion may cause some kinds of complications，including dentine hypersensitivity，food impaction，pulpitis and apical periodontitis. Timely and effective treatment for abrasion prevents further development of the lesion and restores masticator function of the teeth. Along with the improvement of the operating skills and the innovation of the prosthetic materials，the restoration of the abrasive teeth has made certain progress. The present article tries to address the research on the characteristics and the treatment of the abrasive teeth.
