Abstract: Implant infra-position refers to the phenomenon that after dental implant restoration，the position of the implant changes in relation to the alveolar bone，causing the implant to move inward toward the alveolar bone. This situation may affect the integration between the implant and the surrounding bone tissue，thereby impacting the stability and function of the implant. This article provides a review on the etiological research progress in the mechanisms and risk factors of implant infra-position，aiming to offer scientific guidance for the prevention and treatment of functional and aesthetic issues in oral implant denture restoration caused by this condition.
