Abstract:The 21st century is the era of big data. Big data technology provides a new research method for the scientific research, which is to be driven by previous assumptions transforming to data driven. Big data technology is used to make data mining, comparison, cluster analysis and correlation analysis with the huge amounts of data in order to explore the rule and put forward experimental hypothesis or reliable experimental conclusion. This paper mainly describes the characteristics of regional and seasonal diseases, the role of big data in the disease prevention, how to use big data thinking to study regiond and seasonal obstetric diseases and how to make use of big data technologies in targeted prevention and control of regional and seasonal obstetric diseases.
