Abstract: Ovaries are the most important reproductive organs. They have both reproductive and endocrine functions, which are essential for female’s health. Reduced ovarian reserve before the normal menopause age is a life-changing condition that affects women the rest of her whole life. The short term effects include infertility and abnormal uterine bleeding. The long term effects include disorders of neural system, cardiovascular system, dermal system, urogenital system as well as the skeletal system. Therefore, we should pay attention to the potential patients suffering poor ovarian response or premature ovarian failure and give them proper treatments as soon as possible.
