Abstract: Objective    By using two different methods of unilateral complete cleft lip repair， and 6 months after surgery， respectively， were compared in order to compare the recovery of the affected side lip height there are no significant differences. Methods    Sixty children with unilateral complete cleft lip in were selected，30 patients in each group. The first group was treated with rotation method， the second group was made a small triangular vermilion flap in addition to the treatment for the first group. Two groups of patients，after surgery， respectively， in 6 months，were measured lip height and the difference calculated， and then compare the two groups， the data for statistical analysis. Results    In the first group immediate total figures of the health and trouble side lip height standard deviation difference was big； in the second group immediate total figures of the health and trouble side lip height standard deviation difference was minimum. Thus it can be seen that the surgery method second group of surpassed surgery method first group of obviously. Conclusion    In early repair of unilateral complete cleft lip surgery，with small triangular flaps of skin， you can reduce the degree of scar contracture，maintain a high degree of symmetry on both sides of lip peak，ensure good long-term effect after the surgery of clleft lip.
