Abstract: Mandibular angle contouring surgery is one of the common operations in the plastic and aesthetic surgery. Although the principle of the operation is not complex，the high risk exists during the course of the practice，mainly as the result of the limited visual field and the disturbance for the respiratory tract. The factors contributing to the success exist in the steps of this operation. This paper summarizes relative details in the mandibular angle contouring surgery based on the relevant literatures and authors’ experience under the clue of operation procedure，emphasizing the attention of details during and after the operation，which will contribute to the safety and effectiveness for this operation.
