摘要：

根管峡区是指同一牙根内两根管之间，含有牙髓或牙髓生成组织的一种窄形带状结构。由于常规根管治疗难以对其进行机械清理、成形和充填而最终导致根管治疗失败。文章对根管峡区的研究现状进行综述。

Abstract:

An isthmus is defined as a narrow ribbon-shaped structure between two root canals that contains pulp tissues. It can be a bacterial reservoir which is difficult to prepare，shape and fill，which accounts for the failure of root canal therapy. In this paper，the root canal isthmus were reviewed.
