Abstract    More recently, there has been great advance in the treatment strategy of gastric cancer. Especially, with the application of multi-disciplinary team,the management of gastric cancer has been improved significantly. Among which, the endoscopic treatment, laparoscopic operation, preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy and palliative operation and other new treatment strategies, not only prolong the life of patients, but also improved the quality of life.This paper reviewed the latest developments in 2014 Korea International Gastric Cancer Week, introducing the reader to the current novel issues in this field, in order to put forward new ideas for the gastric cancer management and study in china.
