Epidemiology,classification and diagnosis of osteoporosis in middle-aged women
Abstract:Osteoporosis is a degenerative disease,seriously affecting the health and quality of life of middle-aged women. With the advent of an aging society,the prevalence of osteoporosis can be expected to rise. Osteoporosis becomes a major public health problem. Therefore,it is important for us to fully understand osteoporosis and its epidemiology and risk factors,to grasp diagnostic criteria and to choose their diagnostic method. This paper reviews the epidemiology,risk factors,classification,diagnostic criteria and methods of osteoporosis.
