Abstract

The incidence of anemia during the perioperative period in gynecology is high, with iron-deficiency anemia being the most common type. Anemia is an important factor affecting postoperative recovery and prognosis of patients, especially in terms of surgical risks and postoperative complications. As one of the main methods in correcting anemia, the rational application and selection of iron agents are particularly important. This article reviews the epidemiological characteristics of anemia during the perioperative period in gynecology and the clinical application effects of different types of iron agents, providing a reference for clinical practice.
