Women with heart disease are at risk of cardiac complications during pregnancy and delivery，which is one of the leading causes of non-obstetric maternal mortality in China，so pre-conception health care should be planned accordingly.Pre-pregnancy risk assessment should include a complete medical history and physical examination.The women who is suitable for operation are advised to receive surgery before pregnancy.Effective contraception choices are recommended for women with contraindication to pregnancy.Multidisciplinary teams must be involved in the care of the women who are pregnant in order to improve maternal and child outcomes.
